Soda Hauling Semi Collapses On US 50

(Dillsboro, Ind.) – U.S. 50 did the “Dew” Thursday afternoon.

 

A semi truck carrying a trailer full of Mountain Dew two liters ran off the highway near Old U.S. 50 in Dillsboro around 12:54 p.m. Dispatchers said the trailer had collapsed.

 

Traffic was re-routed around the crash scene as the truck was unloaded and crews clean the soda off the highway.

 

No serious injuries were reported.

 

The accident remains under investigation by the Dearborn County Sheriff’s Department.
