CASA volunteers advocate for the best interest of child victims of abuse and neglect in Ripley County.

(Ripley County, Ind.) – SEI Voices for Children is seeking volunteers.
New volunteer training starts on Friday, March 24.
Initial training is 30 hours. It is a flexible guided learning that is individualized to each volunteer.
SEI Voices for Children is a nonprofit organizations that recruits, educates and supports Court Appointed Special Advocate (CASA) volunteers to advocate for the best interest of child victims of abuse and neglect in Ripley County.
"When there's a CASA championing a child's best interest, that child is much more likely to have a positive outcome. It's the CASA's voice that often leads a child through a complex legal system and into a brighter tomorrow," said Judge King, Ripley County Circuit Court.
