(Versailles, Ind.) – Three South Ripley High School students are in hot water after a drug deal occurred on a school bus.
The Versailles Republican reports student Chandus Jeffrey Graham, 18, is charged with Dealing in a Controlled Substance on a School Bus, which is a Class A felony.
Graham allegedly sold six morphine pills on the bus as students rode from South Ripley High School to the Southeast Career Center on January 20, South Ripley Town Marshal Joe Mann stated in a sworn court affidavit. The drug deal was caught on the bus’ surveillance video camera.
Graham was arrested on January 26 and has since bonded out of jail. He no longer attends school at South Ripley, the newspaper reported.
Two other students who bought the drugs – 18-year-olds Christifer Wickizer and Christopher Michael Krause – are both charged with Possession of a Controlled Substance, Class C felony. They were arrested on Tuesday.
South Ripley Community Schools resource officer Dan Goris said the school is taking a zero-tolerance policy on drugs in school.
