Rock Thrown Through Windshield, Injuring Harrison Man

A rock was thrown through the windshield of a vehicle in Burlington on Saturday night.

(Burlington, Ky.) - There's no word yet of any suspects in a rock-throwing incident in Burlington.

Police say someone threw the five-pound rock into the windshield of a car on Kentucky 237 at Country Club Lane at around 10:30 Saturday night. The rock left the driver, William Wehner, of Harrison, with serious facial injuries.

Wehner, 64, is at UC Medical Center in stable condition, but relatives say he faces a long road to recovery.

There was at least one other rock-throwing incident reported in the area that evening.
