Graduating seniors in Ohio and Ripley counties and the cities of Aurora and Batesville were awarded.

(Rising Sun, Ind.) - The Rising Sun Regional Foundation is pleased to announce the award of $47,000 in scholarships to graduating seniors who reside in Ohio and Ripley counties and the cities of Aurora and Batesville, the Foundation’s Southeastern Indiana grantmaking region.

All graduating seniors who reside in Ohio and Ripley counties and the cities of Aurora and Batesville who maintained a six-semester grade point average of 2.75 or higher and plan to attend a post-secondary educational institution were eligible to apply for these scholarship awards.
Awardees of these scholarships were drawn at random from the pool of eligible applicants that were submitted to the Rising Sun Regional Foundation along with official transcripts.
Since 1994, the Rising Sun Regional Foundation has served as a catalyst for meaningful progress across Ohio County, Ripley County, and the cities of Aurora and Batesville. With nearly $47 million reinvested into the community, the Foundation has helped empower local nonprofits, advance education, bolster critical public safety efforts, and strengthen essential utility infrastructure throughout the region.
