Rising Sun Pool Go'er Tests Positive For COVID-19; Pool Remains Closed

The pool remains closed due to a lack of adequate staffing.

(Rising Sun, Ind.) - The Rising Sun Community Pool is closed until further notice. 

According to the City of Rising Sun, an individual that was present at the pool on Friday, July 10 tested positive for COVID-19 on Sunday. The infected person was said to be at the pool sometime between 11:30 a.m. and 9:30 p.m. 

Steps were taken to reopen the pool, but it remains closed due to a lack of employees. 

Free COVID-19 testing is available at Rising Sun Church of Christ between 9:00 a.m. and 6:00 p.m. through Saturday, July 18. No appointment is required.
