Rising Sun Man Accused Of Child Molesting

The man is being held on a high bond after the disturbing allegations.

(Aurora, Ind.) - A Rising Sun man is accused of child molesting. 

Christopher L. Hiett, 25, was booked into the Dearborn County Law Enforcement Center on October 11. 

According to a probable cause affidavit, investigators allege that Hiett had inappropriate sexual contact with a six-year-old child at his home in Aurora. 

The investigation began on September 29 when police were notified by the Department of Child Services of the allegations.

Hiett is charged with two counts of Child Molesting (Level 4 felony). A judge ordered he be held on $150,000 surety and $2,500 cash bond. 

A pre-trial court date has been set for December 4 at 10:10 a.m.
