Rising Sun Families Displaced After Partial Building Collapse

The cause of this partial building collapse is unknown.

(Rising Sun, Ind.) - Some Rising Sun residents experienced an abrupt awakening in the early hours of this morning. 

A 10-foot section of a brick wall holding a Mexican Restaurant and apartments on the corner of Main and South Poplar Street fell onto the sidewalk around 1:00 AM, reports FOX19 NOW

As a precaution, Ohio County police say the building was evacuated and all utilities were shut off.  

No injuries were reported.

It is unclear when the families will be able to return to their home. 

The cause of this partial building collapse is unknown and under investigation.
