Ripley Co. Fall Property Tax Installments Due By November 13

The fall installment can be paid in a variety of ways.

(Versailles, Ind.) – Ripley County property owners are reminded that fall installments are due November 13.

Tax bills are sent out in the spring but include the bills for the entire year.

Some choose to pay entire taxes in the spring, while others pay their property taxes in two installments.

Payments can be made at the Treasurer’s Office in the Ripley County Government Annex in Versailles, online at www.ripleycounty.com, by drop box in the Annex parking lot, or by mail.

If you mail your tax statements, they must be postmarked on or before the deadline date of November 13. Payments received the day after the due date and up to 29 days late will receive a five percent penalty. A 10 percent penalty will be tacked on to statements that are 30 days late or more.

Checks should be made payable to: Treasurer of Ripley County, and mailed to Ripley County Treasurer, PO BOX 176, Versailles, IN 47042.

When paying by mail you will need to send a self-addressed stamped envelope with your payment to receive a receipt mailed to you.
