(Milan, IN) - Milan native Rachel Holt is getting another opportunity to take her music to a national audience. The young country singer and songwriter, now based in Nashville, has been booked to perform Nov. 17 at the second annual Big Blue Bash at Mar-a-Lago in Florida.
The event will bring law enforcement officers, families, and guests together for an evening featuring dinner, live entertainment, auctions, and special presentations. The event will also recognize law enforcement officers and raise funds to support wounded and fallen officers and their families. Holt will be among several musical performers appearing during the evening.
Rachel has a personal connection to the men and women in law enforcement. Several members of her family have worked in law enforcement, including her great granddad, Joseph Daniel Martin, who was a Fish and Wildlife Refuge Officer killed in the line of duty.
Rachel grew up performing at home with her family before developing her own identity as a country artist. That path eventually led her to Nashville, where she signed with Baste Records in 2023. Since then, she has continued writing, recording and performing, building a growing audience with songs that reflect her own experiences and perspective.
