(Rabbit Hash, Ky.) – Rabbit Hash’s first Ambassador has passed away.
The river town known for its General Store and pet administration announced the passing of Lady Stone on Saturday.
Lady Stone was appointed Ambassador for Rabbit Hash after the Mayoral election in 2016.
Most recently, she retained her position as an Ambassador during the 2020 election, which saw the highest voter turnout ever with 22,985 total votes.
She had been a staunch supporter of the town online and in person, fulfilling her governmental duties in a dedicated and joyous manner. She brought much joy to visitors and those who knew her alike,” read a Facebook post from the Rabbit Hash Historical Society.
