Pedestrian Struck In Versailles

A person was hit by a vehicle near the McDonald's in Versailles on Tuesday evening.

(Versailles, Ind.) - A person was struck by a vehicle in Versailles Tuesday evening.

Versailles Fire Rescue says the pedestrian was hit on U.S. 421 near the McDonald’s restaurant.

Firefighters and EMTs first on the scene administered first aid to the victim. A medical helicopter landed at the Southeastern Career Center nearby and flew the victim to a hospital.

The victim’s name and current condition have not been released.
