UPDATE: Police Identify Pedestrian Killed in Interstate 75 Collision

UPDATE: The deceased pedestrian has been identified as Javier Lemus of Cincinnati.

The Erlanger Police Department, in conjunction with the Kenton County Serious Traffic Accident Reconstruction team, continues to actively investigate this incident. No additional details are being released at this time to protect the integrity of the investigation.

(Erlanger, Ky.) - Erlanger Police were dispatched early Monday morning for a traffic collision involving a pedestrian and semi-truck.

The collision took place around 3:00 a.m. in the southbound lanes of Interstate 75 near mile marker 184.5.

The pedestrian was pronounced deceased upon arrival. The identity of the victim has not been released at this time.

The collision remains under investigation.
