Pedestrian Hit, Killed By Vehicle In Harrison

A woman was hit by a car while walking on West Road.

(Harrison, Oh.) - Harrison Police are investigating after a person was hit and killed by a vehicle on West Road.

A 55-year-old woman was hit by a vehicle on the overpass over Interstate 74 at around 1:30 Sunday morning, September 9. The driver did stop and call 911. 

Officers arrived to find the victim with fatal head and leg injuries. The victim’s name has not been released.

Police have not announced charges against the motorist. Investigators note that driving conditions were dark and raining at the time of the accident.
