(Vevay, Ind.) Indiana Department of Transportation contractor Dave O'Mara Contractor, Inc. is scheduled to begin patching operations on State Road 56 between Brooksburg and Vevay on or after Thursday, June 5.

Work is expected to be complete in early August, weather permitting. Flagging operations will be used while work is in progress. Crews will work daily from approximately 6 a.m. to 5 p.m.

This project is part of a $3.7 million contract awarded to Dave O'Mara in August 2024. INDOT reminds drivers to slow down, use extra caution, and avoid distractions when traveling in and near work zones. All work is weather-dependent and schedules are subject to change.
