(Erlanger, Ky.) – One of the largest online retailers for home furnishing and decor is expanding its business in northern Kentucky. Wayfair Inc., is set to move into a nearly 900,000-square-foot facility near Cincinnati/Northern Kentucky International Airport. The Boston-based company offers a selection of home furnishings and décor from brands such as Wayfair.com, Joss & Main, AllModern, DwellStudio and Birch Lane. Dermody Properties and Hillwood Investment Properties will develop the new facility on a 52-acre site at 1600 Donaldson Road in Erlanger. The new facility will be the single largest development in the history of Dermody Properties. “The vision of the CVG team in offering this site for industrial development, and its strategic location, provided an excellent development opportunity,”Gregory Arnold, partner with Dermody Properties, said in a news release. The new fulfillment center, known as LogistiCenter at 275 will complement Wayfair’s current distribution center that was opened in 2014 in the former Gap Distribution Center in Hebron. Groundbreaking at the site is tentatively set for mid-October. The new fulfillment center is expected to be completed in the second quarter of 2016.
