One Day in Aurora Features Three Events

Anybody up for breakfast, cornhole and dancing?

(Aurora, Ind.) – It will be a fun-filled Saturday in downtown Aurora.

Main Street Aurora’s Dancing on Main Country Night will be surrounded by two separate events on Saturday, March 11.

Dancing on Main will take place at the Aurora Lions Club from 7:00 to 10:00 p.m. The event will feature live music, food and split the pot.

Doors open at 6:30. Admission is $10 per person.

Start the day at the Lions Club for the South Dearborn High School Scholarship Breakfast. It will run from 7:00 to 11:00 a.m. Menu items include pancakes, sausage, biscuits and gravy, and scrambled eggs.

Advance tickets are available from any Lions member. Cost is $10 for adults and children under 12 get in for $5.

Proceeds will benefit South Dearborn High School seniors heading for higher education opportunities with an Aurora Lions Club Scholarship.

If that’s not enough fun for you, Aurora Parks and Recreation will host a Cornhole Tournament at the Aurora Community Center.

The tournament will start at noon and winners will get a cornhole set provided by Big Indian Woodworking.
