One Airlifted from Accident in Burlington

The accident took place on Thursday.

(Burlington, Ky.) - On Thursday, Burlington units were dispatched to an auto accident with extrication on the Camp Ernst Bridge at Gunpowder Creek. 

According to the Burlington Fire Protection District, a single vehicle was located on its top in the creek. 

The patient was quickly extricated and transported via Air Care to UC with non-life-threatening injuries.

Responding units included Hebron, Union and Florence Fire Departments, along with the Boone County Sheriff's Office and EMA.
