Congratulations to this year's graduates!

(Oldenburg, Ind.) - Oldenburg Academy of the Immaculate Conception proudly announces the graduation of the Class of 2025—39 exceptional young men and women who exemplify the school’s Franciscan Catholic, college preparatory mission

As 37 graduates pursue post-secondary education and two enlist in the United States Armed Forces, the Class of 2025 leaves Oldenburg Academy well-prepared for the next chapter of their lives. Collectively, they earned more than $6.3 million in scholarship offers and completed over 1,100 dual college credits—an impressive testament to the rigor of OA’s academic programs, the dedication of its faculty, and the perseverance of its students.

Academic achievement continues to be a hallmark of the OA experience. This year, 77% of graduates earned the Indiana Academic Honors Diploma, and 49% completed the Indiana College Core—entering college with the equivalent of a full year of general education credits already earned.

A new academic recognition initiative, launched this year, honored students through Latin Honors distinctions. Four students earned Cum Laude (GPA 3.70–3.84), seven earned Magna Cum Laude (GPA 3.85–4.0), and eleven achieved Summa Cum Laude honors (GPA above 4.0). In addition, 17 student-athletes were named Academic All-State, demonstrating excellence both in the classroom and in competition.

“These numbers tell a story of academic strength, but also of heart,” said Angie Parmer, Principal of Oldenburg Academy. “It’s clear that both our students and their families have made education a priority. They put in the time, the work, and the determination it takes to succeed. Our students are leaving with a strong sense of purpose. They are college-ready, ready to serve their communities, live their values, and make a lasting impact. I couldn’t be more proud of who they are and what they will become.”

This year’s Valedictorian is Annabelle Nunlist, daughter of Nathan and Susan Nunlist of Batesville. Annabelle plans to attend Ball State University in the fall to study Speech and Language Pathology. Ava Henry, daughter of Brad and Miranda Henry of Shelbyville, is the Salutatorian of the Class of 2025. Ava will attend Butler University to study Pre-Pharmacy.

True to the Franciscan tradition, the Class of 2025 also modeled servant leadership in meaningful ways. Twenty-three seniors completed over 100 hours of community service, and four students surpassed 500 hours—a remarkable act of generosity and commitment. These service hours may not appear on a transcript, but they speak volumes about the character and compassion at the heart of the OA experience. “

The Class of 2025 is a shining example of what it means to be formed in faith, challenged in academics, and called to serve,” said Annette Hunger, President of Oldenburg Academy. “Their achievements reflect not only personal effort but also the enduring strength of our nearly 175-year-old mission.
