Ohio County Tourism Announces 2024 Marketing Grant Recipients

Over $30,000 in grants for 14 event were awarded.

(Rising Sun, Ind.) - Ohio County Tourism, Inc. is pleased to announce their 2024 Marketing Grant recipients. Over $30,000 in grants for 14 events were awarded by the Ohio County Tourism, Inc. board of directors at their January meeting.

The purpose of tourism marketing grants is to help defray marketing costs for brochures, posters, advertising, signs, banners, etc., for not-for-profit organizations that generate tourism to Rising Sun/Ohio County. All events must be held in Rising Sun/Ohio County in 2024.

Awards were given to the following organizations: the Ohio County Historical Society for a Tea & Art Show, Spring Craft, Antique & Christmas Markets, Spring & Christmas-themed Teas, a How-to-Antique Collecting Class, and a Chili Cook Off.

Other recipients include: the Ohio County Youth Development, Inc. for the 4-H Fair & Open Beef Preview Show; the Rising Sun Band Boosters for the Shiner Pride Car Show; the City of Rising Sun for the Navy Bean Fall Festival; the Ohio Valley River Cats for the Catfish Tournament; and the Conductors of Indiana Train Club for the Christmas Train Show.
