(Rising Sun, Ind.) - The Ohio County Community Foundation would like to invite non-profit organizations whose projects or programs benefit Ohio County to apply for the 2026 OCCF Annual Celebration Grant by going to the website at occfrisingsun.com.

The Ohio County Community Foundation is celebrating 28 years (1998-2026). In recognition of this milestone, (1) OCCF Annual Celebration Grant (this is a competitive grant) in the amount of $10,028 will be awarded to a non-profit organization serving Ohio County. Grant request funds must be used for projects or programs outside of the organization’s normal funding capabilities and must be implemented within (1) year of being awarded.

The deadline to apply is Friday, July 31, 2026, by 3:00pm.

Applicants may be required to attend a scheduled interview in the Ohio County Community Foundation office if the OCCF Board members deem necessary. The grant award recipient will be notified at the end of August 2026.

The mission of the Ohio County Community Foundation is to build, manage and distribute a lasting source of charitable resources for Ohio County.
