This non-competitive scholarship is open to all Ohio County residents that meet certain criteria.

(Ohio County, Ind.) - The Ohio County Community Foundation is now accepting applications for the 2026 Community/Junior College Scholarship (Cycle II).
This non-competitive scholarship is open to all Ohio County, Indiana residents who:
- Will be attending an accredited two-year college or trade school
- Have been an Ohio County resident for at least one year
- Have already earned a high school diploma, HSE, or GED
- Meet all program requirements outlined in the application
The scholarship is designed for individuals pursuing additional education and training opportunities, including those returning to school, not just recent graduates.
Scholarship applications must be submitted by 3:00 p.m. on July 17, 2026.
The scholarship award is $1,000 per cycle. Eligible applicants may receive the Community/Junior College Scholarship up to six times. A new application must be completed and submitted for each cycle in which consideration is requested. The scholarship is offered three times each calendar year.
