(Lawrenceburg, Ind.) - The snow has stopped, but not before dumping several inches across the tri-state area.
According to the National Weather Service, the following cities and towns received several inches of snow.
- Batesville 14.2
- Florence, Ky: 12
- Versailles: 11.1
- Cleves, Oh: 10.5
- Hebron, Ky: 10.2
- Dillsboro 9.5
- Lawrenceburg: 9.0
- CVG: 9.0
- Greendale: 8.0
- Aurora: 7.6
A Winter Storm Warning remains in effect until noon Monday. Travel conditions remain very difficult. Plan on slippery road conditions. The hazardous conditions will impact the Monday morning commute.
An Extreme Cold Warning remains in effect from 6:00 p.m. Monday to noon Tuesday. Very cold wind chills as low as 15 below zero expected. Dangerously cold wind chills as low as 25 below zero could cause frostbite on exposed skin in as little as 30 minutes.
Dress in layers including a hat, face mask, and gloves if you must go outside. Keep pets indoors as much as possible. Make sure outdoor animals have a warm, dry shelter, food, and unfrozen water.
