(Franklin County, Ind.) - The Indiana Department of Transportation announces the upcoming activation of a new traffic signal in Batesville.

On or after Thursday, June 12, crews will activate the new signal at the intersection of State Road 46 and North Huntersville Road. The signal is being installed to improve safety and mobility at the intersection.

Drivers should use extra caution in the area while motorists adjust to the new traffic pattern.

INDOT reminds drivers to slow down, use extra caution, and avoid distractions when traveling in and near work zones. All work is weather-dependent and schedules are subject to change.
