(Rising Sun, Ind.) - Highpoint Health Physician Partners’ Rising Sun Medical Center, 230 Sixth Street, has purchased new furniture for both its waiting and examination rooms, thanks to a grant of $10,000 provided by the Rising Sun Regional Foundation plus additional funding from Highpoint Health.
“Patients have commented that the chairs are more comfortable and easier to get up from, especially for those with mobility issues,” stated Christopher Walcott, M.D., Family Medicine Physician at the Center.
This spring, the Center plans to apply for additional grant funding to replace the carpeting and flooring in the building.
