National Weather Service Announces Elevated Fire Danger

(Wilmington, OH) - The National Weather Service has announced an elevated fire danger for today.

The effected counties include Franklin, Ripley, Dearborn, Ohio, Switzerland, Carroll, Gallatin, Boone, and Kenton.

The danger is due to dry conditions and expected wind gusts of 25 to 35 miles per hour. 

Outdoor burning is not recommended as a fire could grow out of control.
