Miracle On Main Brings Christmas Cheer To Downtown Aurora

There will be plenty of fun holiday activities to enjoy through December 19.

(Aurora, Ind.) – Big things are happening in Aurora this holiday season.

Miracle on Main Street got underway on Sunday with the annual parade and tree lighting ceremony.

There is still plenty of holiday fun scheduled between now and the end of Miracle on Main Street on December 19.

Featured events include:

December 4th, 11th, 18th

  • 9:00am & 11:00am Breakfast with Santa (Children Free, limited spaces-reservations required 812-926-1100)

December 4th, 5th, 11th, 12th, 18th, 19th

  • 1:00pm-4:00pm Dickens Village & Toy Display along with Free Pictures with Santa @ the Lions Club on Main Street.

December 5th & 19th

  • 1:00pm-4:00pm Live Reindeer from Silly Safaris Reindeer Reserve @ Lions Club on Main Street.

December 12th

  • 1:00pm-5:00pm Free Aurora Express Train Rides through Aurora departing and returning at Lions Club on Main Street.
  • 2:00pm Holiday Pet Parade. Parade begins @ St. Elizabeth Medical Center-Second & Bridgeway St.
  • 2:00pm-5:00pm Live Nativity in Gabbard Riverfront Park
  • 2:00pm 18th Annual Village Organists Concert & Carol Sing 203 Fourth Street Aurora First Presbyterian Church. Refreshments will follow.

December 19th

  • 2:30pm St. John School Children Choir @ Lions Club on Main Street
  • 3:30pm Christmas Business Decorating Awards @ Lion Club

The City of Aurora extends a special thanks to the Aurora Churches Association, Aurora Lions Club, Aurora Public Library, and Main Street Aurora for making the 17th annual Miracle on Main possible.
