(Milan, Ind.) – Students at Milan High School are getting in the giving spirit.

The Service and Seminar Class, led by Jeff Stutler, collected 45 bicycles to give to area families.

The annual project accepted donations in November and December with many local organizations contributing. Margaret Mary Health was among the contributors, equipping each bike with a helmet.

In a Facebook post Tuesday, Milan Community Schools announced that the bikes were delivered to the Samaritans Hope Chest in Milan.

“Despite the challenges of this year, the Milan community stepped up to provide Christmas joy. The class extends a thank you to everyone for their generosity,” the post reads.
