(Milan, Ind.) – What were you doing when you were a senior in high school?
For Milan High School senior Alorha Welch, she has taken to the sky.
On Tuesday, the Milan School Corporation sent out congratulations to Welch, who took her first solo flight as she works towards her pilot license as part of Milan’s Work Based Learning Program.
Welch hopes to one day become a commercial pilot.
