Mardi Gras Ball to Benefit Children's Advocacy Center Happens Feb. 19

King and Queen candidates from eight counties compete to raise the most money for the CAC.

(Lawrenceburg, Ind.) – Mardi Gras comes to Lawrenceburg on Saturday, February 19.

The annual Mardi Gras Ball to benefit the Children’s Advocacy Center of Southeast Indiana will once again take place at the Lawrenceburg Event Center. Doors open at 5:00 p.m.

The event will feature dinner, live auction, and live entertainment by the Naked Karate Girls.

Per usual, King and Queen candidates from eight counties compete to raise the most money for the CAC. Every dollar counts as one vote.

This year’s King and Queen candidates are:

  • Dearborn County: Kevin Wang and Andrea Ewan
  • Decatur County: Christie and Jimmy McLaughlin
  • Franklin County: Jason and Kate Hunter
  • Jefferson County: Frank Hayes and TBA
  • Ohio County: Adam and Abby Fox
  • Ripley County: Kurt and Beth Enneking
  • Scott County: Kyle and Jacklyn Shofner
  • Switzerland County: Ryan Marshall and Ariel Downing

Tickets for the event can be purchased at CAC of Southeastern Indiana - Mardi Gras (cacsoutheast.org). Cost is $85 per person or $170 per couple.
