Manchester Elementary School to Host Final Walkthrough

Community members are invited to attend this afternoon.

(Manchester, Ind.) - Manchester Elementary School invites community members to take a final walkthrough of the building on Monday, May 19 from 4:00 to 5:30 p.m.

"As we prepare to say goodbye to a place that has meant so much to so many, we welcome you to come reflect, reminisce, and celebrate the memories made within these walls," reads a statement from South Dearborn Community School Corporation.

A decision was made in April to close the elementary school due to declining enrollment and rising operating costs.

Visitors to Monday's final walkthrough are asked to enter the building through the front door off Ellinghausen Road.

The last day of school is May 30.
