Man Accused of Child Molesting Back in Custody After Skipping Court in Franklin Co.

(Franklin County, Ind.) – A man accused of child molesting is back in police custody after he skipped a court date and fled the area.

Jesse Meckley was arrested last week in Richmond, according to a FOX-19 report.

Meckley was initially charged with three counts of Child Molesting, four counts of Sexual Misconduct with a Minor, Rape and Sexual Battery in September of 2020.

He bonded out of jail in November of 2020 and failed to appear in court just weeks prior to his scheduled jury trial in August.
