Lower Flags On Peace Officers Memorial Day Tuesday

Indiana government buildings will lower their flags to half-staff in observance on May 15.

(Indianapolis, Ind.) - Indiana Governor Eric Holcomb is directing flags across the state to be flown at half-staff for Peace Officers Memorial Day.

Flags should be flown at half-staff from sunrise to sunset on Tuesday, May 15.

Indiana businesses and residents are also invited to lower their flags to half-staff on Tuesday.

Peace Officers Memorial Day and Police Week is an observance that pays tribute to the local, state, and federal peace officers who have died, or who have been disabled, in the line of duty.
