Switzerland County 8, South Ripley 0   SOFTBALL South Dearborn 2, Lawrenceburg 1 – South Dearborn is now 15-0. Kooper Vertz earned the win for SD by retiring the final 11 hitters she faced. Ellen Barrett knocked in the Lady Knights’ only two runs on a two-run homer. South Ripley 6, Switzerland County 1 – Five of South Ripley’s runs were unearned. Rising Sun 4, Southwestern 2 Jac-Cen-Del 14, Shawe Memorial 2   GIRLS TENNIS Connersville 3, South Dearborn 2 - The Lady Knights were on the courts again, for the third night in a row, this time hosting the Lady Spartans of Connersville. South Dearborn was looking to get back on the winning track, but Connersville had other plans, taking the match 3-2. Shelbi Yoe (1 singles) played a strong match and defeated her opponent 6-3, 7-5. Brianna Johnson played 2 singles and was defeated 2-6, 1-6. Carley Ochs played 3 singles and found a way to win in 3 sets. #1 doubles of Molly Schmahl and Breanna Upton lost 4-6, 3-6. #2 doubles team of Kayla Barrett and Cheyenne Burress fell 2-6, 3-6. The Lady Knights have been improving match by match, but still needs to find away to get over the hurdle and find that third and decisive point.
