The pursuit started around 1:30 a.m. in the Greensburg area.

(Greensburg, Ind.) - Greensburg Police were patrolling on Interstate 74 near the 134 MM early Friday morning when a vehicle exceeding the maximum posted speed limit was stopped.
As the officer approached the vehicle, the driver took off and led officers in a vehicle pursuit reaching speeds up to 115 miles per hour along I-74 westbound.
Multiple agencies assisted in the pursuit and the deployment of tire deflation devices along the route. The suspect vehicle became disabled and stopped in the 101 MM exit. The driver, identified as Eric Figueroa, 21, of Cincinnati, then fled on foot and was apprehended a short time later.
Figueroa has been charged with the following crimes:
- Resisting Arrest with a Motor Vehicle - Level 6 Felony
- Operating a Motor Vehicle Vehicle while Intoxicated with a prior conviction- Level 6 Felony
- Possession of Narcotics - Level 6 Felony
- Reckless Driving - Class A Misdemeanor
