Local NRA Banquet Will Give Guns As Prizes

By Mike Perleberg (Aurora, Ind.) – A local National Rifle Association event will give away dozens of guns to attendees. The Second Annual Southeast Indiana Friends of the NRA Banquet will be held Saturday, August 6 at the Dearborn Country Club, 170 Country Club Road, in Aurora. Attendees will be able to participate in bucket drawings for guns and more. Konnie Couch, organizer of the event and founder of Women Armed and Ready, says that more than 50 guns will be given out as prizes. Tickets for the banquet are available online for $100 per person at www.friendsofnra.org/eventtickets/Events/Index/15. Doors will open at 5:00 p.m. and dinner will be served at 7:00.
