(Harrison, Oh.) - A new splash pad is in the works at the Harrison Community Center.
According to The Source, the new splash pad is set to open in summer 2026. It will be located between the existing playground and the shelter, where many concerts and events are held.
Aside from the splash pad, 10 new parking spaces will be installed, along with updated landscaping, and a new path connecting the shelter directly to restrooms.
The project stems from a survey in 2023. More than 800 residents ranked a splash pad high on the list of desired amenities.
Construction is expected to begin before the end of the year. A grand opening is planned for May 2026.
