(Dearborn County, Ind.) - The Dearborn County Anti-Litter Initiative (DCALI) has scheduled a roadside clean-up for Saturday, September 12 on a portion of Georgetown Road.
Georgetown Road will be closed between State Road 1 and Fairway Drive beginning at 9:00 a.m. until approximately noon to ensure the safety of volunteers.
Volunteers will meet at 8:30 a.m. at the corner of Georgetown and Fairway at the HVL golf maintenance building for instructions and supplies. Clean-ups are also a good opportunity for students who need community-service projects (minors must be accompanied by an adult).
DCALI thanks Amy Wilson of HVL for helping to organize the Georgetown clean-up, and the Bright Fire Department, the Dearborn County Sheriff's Office and the Dearborn County Highway Department for their continued assistance.
