Lighthouse Point Yacht Marina Offering Boaters Free Night Stay for Light Up Aurora

(Aurora, Ind.) - Boaters are being offered a free night stay at Lighthouse Point Yacht Marina for the Light Up Aurora event on Saturday, June 28. 

You can reserve a covered or uncovered slip at the marina by calling 812-926-4505. Slips range in size and are offered first come, first serve. 

Lighthouse Point Yacht Marina is sponsoring a boater grill out dinner at the gazebo at 5:00 p.m. Boaters should bring sides and BYOB. Light Up Aurora follows from 6:00 to 10:00 p.m. at Gabbard Riverfront Park. 

Festivities include live music from Kristine Kabbes & The Skallywags, food vendors, kids area with bounces houses, and fireworks over the Ohio River with synchronized music on Eagle Country 99.3. 

Lighthouse Point Yacht Marina features a full range of amenities including 150 Covered & Uncovered Boat Slips, Utilities & Wi-fi, expanded Fuel Docks, Secure Indoor & Outdoor Boat & RV Storage, Service Shop, Bushbach's Marine Store, Beer-Wine-Ice, Pump Out Station, Restrooms/Showers, Private Launch Ramp, Pontoon Boat Rentals, RV Slip Rentals, Party Dock, Waterfront Gazabo Entertainment Area and Event Space Rentals.

June 28th Schedule of Events

5 PM ~ Lighthouse Point Yacht Marina is sponsoring a Boaters grill out dinner at the Gazebo. (Boaters should bring sides and BYOB.)

6 -10 PM ~ Music Concert and entertainment at Gabbard Riverfront Park,

10 PM or Dusk ~ Fireworks on the Ohio River, downtown historic Aurora.
