Both roads will be closed for a week while crews replace railroad ties.

(Hamilton County, Oh.) – Two road closures are upcoming in Hamilton County.
According to the Hamilton County Engineer’s Office, Lawrenceburg Road will close between U.S. 50 and Miamiview Drive beginning Friday, October 18 through Friday, October 25.
The closure is necessary while Safety Services and Supply crews replace railroad ties.
The official detour will use Lawrenceburg Road, U.S. 50, Mt. Nebo Road, Lower River Road, Miamidrive, and back to Lawrenceburg Road and vice versa.
Valley Junction Road (East End) will close at U.S. 50 on October 19. The closure will continue through October 26 for a railroad tie replacement project.
