Our condolences to the Thomas family.

(Lawrenceburg, Ind.) - Nick Thomas was surrounded by loved ones when he passed away peacefully at his home on Tuesday.

He was 40.

Thomas, a Lawrenceburg native, served his community as a Reserve Officer for Lawrenceburg, where he was a familiar and friendly face at many local events. Professionally, he had worked as a General Manager for Mike's Car Wash.

Last year, Thomas was diagnosed with stage 3 lung cancer as a non-smoker.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, July 22 from 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM at Union Valley Baptist Church, followed by funeral services at 1:00 PM, officiated by Rev. Sheldon Rox.

Interment will take place at Greendale Cemetery

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made directly to the family at the service or online.

The family has also created an email address, nicktsmemories@gmail.com, where friends and loved ones can share photos, stories, and condolences in honor of Nick's memory.
