Lawrenceburg Man Killed in Fatal Collision in Trimble County

One dead and four seriously injured following two vehicle collision in Trimble County

(Milton, Ky.) – Kentucky State Police (KSP) Post 5 Campbellsburg responded to a two-vehicle collision in Trimble County on Tuesday morning. 

The crash took place on US-421 and resulted in a single fatality. 

The preliminary investigation indicates that a red 2012 Volvo S60 driven by Mary May, 29, of Jeffersonville, IN, crossed left of center and struck a black 1987 Ford Ranger driven by David Logan, 39 of Lawrenceburg, IN. 

May was flown to University of Louisville Hospital for serious injuries and is currently receiving treatment.

Three juvenile passengers in the red 2012 Volvo were flown to Norton Children's Hospital in Louisville for serious injuries and are currently receiving treatment.

Logan was pronounced deceased on the scene by the Trimble County Coroner, and next of kin has been notified.

This collision remains under investigation.
