The duty crew proceeded to Tanners Creek boat ramp and launched the department’s boat. Upon arriving Police units from Indiana and Kentucky were on the bridge investigating.

Lawrenceburg Fire Department began a single unit creeping line search pattern. Indiana and Kentucky police units were searching the water with drones.

The boat was relocated and again a coordinated search pattern was initiated. After completing LFD contacted Boone County Officers on the Kentucky shore. L.F.D. was then directed down river to identify objects found.

Swimmers verbally assessed while swimming towards the boat. The victim was brought into the boat and was medically assessed for any apparent injuries by L.F.D. Emt’s on the boat.

L.F.D. proceeded to the River Watch Restaurant where care was turned over to Lawrenceburg Paramedics.
