(Lawrenceburg, Ind.) - It is fall festival time in Eagle Country as Lawrenceburg Fall Fest gets its three-day run started on along Walnut Street on Thursday, September 26.

Entertainment Thursday night is the Fall Fest King and Queen crowning and the Battle of the Banks band contest.

Friday night’s free entertainment is Los Angeles rock band Lifehouse. They are known for their 2001 smash hit single “Hanging by a Moment.” Their performance on the main stage starts at 9:15 p.m.

On Saturday, catch country stars Kip Moore and Morgan Evans in a free concert.

Evans, the husband of fellow country star Kelsea Ballerini and performer of his 2017 hit single “Kiss Somebody,” will take the stage at about 7:30 p.m.

Following awards to the Senior King and Queen, Citizen of the Year, and the Whiskey City Rodeo, headliner Kip Moore will perform on the main stage starting at 9:15 p.m. Moore has found repeated commercial success in country music with songs including “Somethin’ ‘Bout a Truck,” “Young Love,” “Dirt Road,” and “I’m to Blame.”

The Whiskey City Rodeo, organized by Lawrenceburg Municipal Utilities, happens at the Lawrenceburg Fairgrounds Thursday through Saturday. Tickets are $10 per person ages nine and older.

It’s a rodeo of two kinds. There are the traditional rodeo bull riders on Friday starting at 5:00 p.m. and Saturday starting at 4:00 p.m. However, the other events during the two days make up a linemen rodeo, a series of competitions among electric utility linemen from around the region and the country and Canada.
