He joins NewDEAL, a selective group of rising stars in the Democratic Party working to solve America's most pressing challenges.

(Lawrenceburg, Ind.) - Lawrenceburg Councilmember Dylan Liddle is one of 25 leaders to join the NewDEAL (Developing Exceptional American Leaders), a selective national network of Democratic state and local elected officials with more than 200 members across the country.
Members of the network have been chosen from more than 2,200 nominations over NewDEAL’s 15 years. NewDEAL Leaders believe that hardworking Americans deserve a government that ensures they have opportunities to thrive and achieve their dreams. As part of NewDEAL, these elected officials are recognized for their forward-thinking approach to making government work to solve modern challenges.
According to a news release, Liddle was selected to join NewDEAL in part because of his commitment to promote responsible growth in Lawrenceburg. In his time on council, Liddle has put his focus into supporting new businesses, existing employers, and expanding affording housing opportunities. Liddle is also committed to ensuring all students have access to the resources and opportunities to reach their potential.
"Now is the time for local leaders to fight for our constituents on issues that impact the physical well-being, economic security, and lasting prosperity of Lawrenceburg,” said Liddle. “I look forward to supporting my city by building stronger partnerships between local government, schools, and employers to prepare the next generation for success. Liddle will work with colleagues across the country through in-person and virtual meetings.
