(Brookville, Ind.) – Mike Fledderman passed away following a lawn mower accident in Indianapolis last Thursday.
According to Indianapolis Metro Police, the incident took place in 8800 block of Lantern Lane just east of Castleton.
Police say Fledderman was involved in a rollover accident involving a lawn mower. He was pronounced deceased at the scene.
Fledderman, 57, grew up in Sunman and was a graduate of East Central High School in 1986.
Fledderman played college basketball at St. Joseph’s College before transferring to Purdue University.
An avid sports fan, Fledderman used his talents to bring ETC Sports to the area, streaming high school basketball and football games. He also helped All Saints, St. Nicholas and St. Anthony stream Mass online.
Services for Fledderman will be held on Tuesday, June 3 at All Saints Parish Life Center at St. Joseph’s Campus. Rosary will begin at 9:00 a.m., followed by visitation until 11:00 a.m. Mass of Christian Burial will begin at 11:30 a.m.
Contributions may be made to St. Nicholas School, St. Peter’s Church, or to help defray funeral expenses.
