(Laurel, Ind.) - Slippery road conditions led to a two-vehicle accident, causing injuries on US Highway 52 in Laurel Indiana on Sunday, December 14.
The Laurel Fire Department, Letts EMS, and the Franklin County Sheriff's Department answered the call around 10:30 a.m., where two cars were stationary following a collision.
After all occupants were able to exit the vehicle on their own, Letts EMS evaluated and treated injuries on scene and assisted in transportation to the local hospital for more treatment.
The scene was closed and evaluated for active fuel leaks, or other hazards prior to Jolliff’s Towing, performing the removal of the vehicles.
The Laurel Fire Department reminds motorists to use caution during winter road conditions and adjust their driving accordingly.
UPDATE: Missing Aurora Teen Located Safely
The teen is believed to be in extreme danger and may require medical assistance.
