Motorists in Gallatin County have to detour around the landslide area just east of Warsaw.

(Warsaw, Ky.) - A section of U.S. 42 in northern Kentucky is shut down after a landslide covered the road.
The landslide occurred Tuesday on U.S. 42 in Gallatin County, about a quarter mile west of U.S. 127, according to the Knetucky Transportation Cabinet. That’s just east of Warsaw.
KTC officials have not said when U.S. 42 may reopen.
The detour until then is U.S. 127 to Interstate 71 to Kentucky 35.
