KSP Make Arrest After Exchanging Gunfire In Independence

The incident happened on Kelsey Drive early Wednesday morning.

(Independence, Ky.) – A man was arrested after firing shots at Kentucky State Police.

Jordan Sullivan was taken into custody outside of a home on the 1000 block of Kelsey Drive in Independence early Wednesday morning, reports FOX-19 NOW.

Kentucky State Police say Sullivan was attempting to break into his mom’s home and fired gunshots at officers upon their arrival at the scene.

Officers returned fire but no injuries were reported.

Sullivan is charged with kidnapping and wanton endangerment.

He is currently held in Kenton County Jail.
