KSP Investigating Fatal Crash In Carroll County

(Carrollton, Ky.) - A fatal accident is under investigation in Carroll County.

Kentucky State Police responded to the multivehicle crash near the 41 mile marker on Interstate 71 on Saturday around 9:11 p.m.

The initial investigation found that Scot Kraft, 41, of Dayton, was killed in the crash after striking a guardrail.

Two others were involved in the crash, including a Scottsburg woman that was transported to an area hospital with unknown injuries. A third individual involved in the crash was not injured. 

A cause of the crash remains under investigation.
